Key Features of the Standard Zeen Mobility Device

The Standard Zeen is a unique mobility device designed to offer a blend of a walker, wheelchair, and standing aid, providing flexible support for those who need assistance but want to stay active and engaged.

Functions: The device acts as a walker, standing aid, and seat, allowing you to walk, sit, and stand on your own. It promotes a natural walking motion, so you can stroll, stride, or coast while interacting with others at eye level.

Lift Mechanism: An adjustable, assisted lift uses gas springs (no motors or batteries) to gently help you transition between sitting and standing. The amount of lift can be adjusted to your needs.

Seat: A comfortable memory foam seat swivels and is height-adjustable. It also includes a retractable seatbelt for security.

Frame and Build: The lightweight aluminum frame folds down to a compact size for easy storage and transport. It weighs around 42-45 pounds and folds to 11×33.5×38 inches.

Weight Capacity & User Requirements: The Zeen supports users up to 250 pounds (113 kg) and is designed for individuals between 4’11” and 6’3″ tall (stand-over height of 22-36 inches). Users must weigh at least 100 pounds.

Controls & Safety: It features handlebars with wheel braking controls, and some models offer a single-handed control option. Safety features include coasting and parking brakes, anti-slip handles, a robust rear caster lock, and a four-swivel-caster design for stability.

Accessories: The device comes with a rear storage bag, memory foam seat, and adjustable footrests. It also includes a two-year limited warranty.

Ideal Users: This device is best for those with moderate grip strength who can stand and walk short distances, and who are looking for more independence and activity.

Special Modes: The “Barstool Mode” lets you stay upright and hands-free, which is great for social settings.

The Standard Zeen is built to be more than just a medical device—its design aims to blend functionality with a sleek look, boosting confidence and overall well-being. This makes it a versatile personal mobility device for use at home, in the community, or during rehabilitation.

The Zeen mobility device is a major step up from traditional walkers and wheelchairs because of its unique combination of features:

Key Features

  • Sit-to-Stand Assistance: Unlike a regular walker or wheelchair, the Zeen offers either powered or spring-assisted lift support, making it easy to transition from sitting to standing.
  • Hybrid Functionality: This single device works as a walker, standing aid, and seat, so you can move safely, coast, or rest without having to switch equipment.
  • Centered Weight Support: The Zeen keeps your weight balanced and stable while you move. This significantly lowers your risk of falling compared to a standard walker, which only provides support in front of you.
  • Height Adjustability: The seat can be raised or lowered to various heights, including a special “barstool mode.” This allows you to stay at eye level with others, whether you’re standing or sitting—something most mobility aids can’t do.
  • Active Mobility: Instead of relying on a wheelchair, you can walk or coast on your own, which helps improve strength and encourages you to stay active.
  • Compact & Portable: The Zeen folds up for easy storage and travel and is lighter than many wheelchairs, making it convenient for people on the go.
  • Braking & Steering: It features easy-to-use hand-operated brakes and agile wheels, giving you better control and safety—a feature not all walkers or wheelchairs have.
  • Modern Design: The Zeen was intentionally designed to look less clinical and more modern, so users feel more confident and comfortable in social settings.

Overall, these features make the Zeen a distinctly different and more effective device, giving users more independence, better safety, and an improved quality of life compared to traditional mobility aids.
